Who is Living Vedanta  

Teachers -

We are practitioners of Yoga and Vedanta who have formally studied in the tradition and have been teaching for over 20 years. We are based in the UK.

Students -

We are a group of like-minded individuals learning and striving to live the teachings of Adi Sankaracharya’s Advaita (non- dual) philosophy.

Knowledge is passed on. Students in time become teachers.

We study and teach Vedanta texts in English with embedded Sanskrit terms so you have a flavour of the richness and a base for further study (if you choose to) without hindering your growth due to lack of Sanskrit knowledge.

We follow the Sivananda School of Yoga to teach simple and effective yoga practices that you can make your own. Yoga brings two fold advantages; the discipline of maintaining a healthy body and one pointedness of mind to achieve your goals.

Living Vedanta integrates spiritual teaching and yoga practice in keeping with the Vedic tradition. It is our compass for moving joyfully forward in life.
